Brought together by a tragic event they had no control over, four men mourn a loss. With little but memories left between them, with nothing to do and nowhere to go, they press each other for the truth. Frustrated by bottled emotions and evasive small talk, not everyone is ready for the truth.

Hymns was originally performed by Frantic Assembly in 1999 and was the company’s first collaboration with Liam Steel of DV8 fame. To coincide with their 10th Anniversary celebrations, the piece was revived for a national tour in 2005.
