Devising and Physicality
Bring your exploration of devising techniques to life by engaging the skills and experience of a specialist Frantic Assembly practitioner within your classroom. This workshop gives your students an insight into how a professional company creates new work and provides them with skills to embark on their own devised projects. Workshops will be pitched to the level and experience of your group. Our Devising and Physicality workshop will:
- Promote physical confidence and encourage participants to look beyond self perceived limitations within a fun, energetic and safe environment.
- Instruct students on the various devising processes used by Frantic Assembly when working collaboratively to produce multi disciplined performance.
- Address key skills required for students to enhance their abilities in the areas of performance, movement, directing and critical analysis.
These workshops are based on Frantic Assembly's devising process.
The workshops do not explore suggested themes and texts, or devise performances for examinations.

Show Specific Workshops
A unique workshop enabling participants to discover the devices and techniques used to create our professional productions. The workshop includes learning material from Frantic Assembly’s shows and the opportunity to create original material following the processes used by the company. The workshops are energetic and creative, and will provide a valuable insight into Frantic Assembly’s working practice. The workshops are available from 13th September - 26th November 2009. Teachers may choose from the following:
- Beautiful Burnout Uncovered
This workshop is supported by a FREE Resource Pack (Available on 1st September 2010) written by our Artistic Directors and a range of other supporting material available at www.franticassembly.co.uk/resource.
Show specific workshops are for students aged 14 upwards. However, please note that the stage productions of Beautiful Burnout contain scenes of a violent nature, and are performed for audiences aged 14 upwards.

- Read the above information carefully and follow the instructions provided to complete and return the booking form. You do not need to contact us in advance to check dates.
- After you have submitted the Booking Form we will contact you within 10 days to confirm your booking.
- We will then send a contract and invoice to you by post.
